La Valle des Couleurs Museum
One of its kind in the Mascareignes islands, the La Valle des Couleurs Museum exhibits the geological history of the island, exploring how the island was formed. On exhibit are some fossils and samples of basaltic, sedimentary or metamorphic rocks.

Mahebourg
Take a car or ride a bike through Mahebourg, Quatre Soeurs and Deux Frères, a region where you will learn about the famous naval battle between the French occupants and British conquerors, and is also a favourite spot for local regattas.

Rochester Falls
The Rochester Falls just outside of Souillac are well worth a visit. The road to the falls passes through the sugar refinery of Terracine.

Gris Gris
Gris Gris beach is famous for its close proximity to a coral reef, found just off its picturesque shores. Huge waves break a few metres away and wash up grainy sand mixed with colourful tiny shells.
